In my work METASELF, I seek the balance between the inner and the outer, between the real and the mythological, creating unique visual worlds in which personal identity can be explored and transformed. This can be compared to an emergency operation; no one likes the truth, everyone tries to avoid it or delay it, but it is inevitable. “The photography on this page was created by a professional selfie-taker. In the frame is me, wearing a kimono that I created just before taking the picture. I made the kimono for the video clip of my friend and talented vocalist and songwriter Tatyana Yosifova. I created all the costumes specifically for the entire work.
